A seasoned leader with nearly three decades of expertise in finance, investment, corporate governance, and strategic management, Encik Amran Abdul Wahab, 56, holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malaya.
Since joining Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd (Central Spectrum) in 2018 as Senior Manager of Finance, he has risen through the ranks, becoming Head of Finance & Investment in 2023 before assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer. His tenure has been marked by strengthening Central Spectrum’s financial framework, overseeing budgetary control, investment strategy, risk governance, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring robust financial health for the company’s expansive projects.
At Central Spectrum, Encik Amran has been pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, including landbank acquisitions, infrastructure development, and project viability assessments. His leadership in financial due diligence, feasibility studies, and investor relations has been instrumental in advancing key ventures such as the Pulau Indah Industrial Park (PIIP), SBB Industrial Park, and commercial developments in high-growth corridors. By optimizing financing models and aligning financial strategy with execution, he has enhanced project delivery efficiency and profitability.
Before joining Central Spectrum, Encik Amran established a distinguished career in corporate leadership and entrepreneurship in construction, properties, and technology industries in the local and international markets. He successfully secured a KPJ hospital project as Partner at Ghaz Properties, drove significant business growth as COO of Expertise International, and founded Net Whizz Sdn Bhd – an MSC-status tech company that formed a strategic European partnership. His career began in corporate finance at Landmark Berhad and auditing at Thiang & Co.
Recognized for his visionary leadership, business acumen, financial acuity, and operational excellence, Encik Amran continues to play a transformative role in Central Spectrum’s growth, ensuring sustainable development, strategic execution, and long-term value creation.
