SHAH ALAM, 28 August 2025 – The Selangor State Government today officially launched the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025, scheduled to be held from 8 to 11 October 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Themed “Selangor: Gateway to ASEAN,” the summit aims to foster stronger regional collaboration, economic resilience, and inclusive growth.
The launch ceremony, held at SACC Convention Centre in Shah Alam, was officiated by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor’s Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility together with YB Puan Anfaal Saari, Selangor’s Executive Councillor for Women and Family Empowerment, YB Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Fadzli Bin Ahmad Tajuddin, Selangor State Secretary, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ts. Saipolyazan M. Yusop, Group Chief Executive Officer of Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) and Y.Bhg. Dato Hasan Azhari, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad.
SIBS 2025 is set to be a comprehensive showcase of diverse economic sectors, featuring six major event components:
- Selangor International F&B EXPO
- Selangor Investment & Industrial Park EXPO (SPARK)
- Selangor Smart City and Digital Economy Convention
- Selangor Aerospace Summit
- Selangor International Care Summit
The launch ceremony also was a pivotal opportunity to formally introduce strategic partners and key participants to the VVIPs on stage, acknowledging their crucial role in the summit’s success.
This year also marks a significant milestone for Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd (CSSB), celebrating its 5th year of participation in SPARK. As a key participant, CSSB was represented on stage by Mr. Amran bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Operating Officer, and he was joined by Mr. Zukarnine Shah Zainal Abidin, Head of Sales, Marketing & Corporate Communications.
The four-day summit is expected to attract business leaders, investors, and innovators from across the region, solidifying Selangor’s position as a key economic hub and the gateway for businesses entering the ASEAN market.
