Zakat Payment Ceremony

A total of RM1,075,118.55 business zakat for the financial year of 2016 had been paid by Central Spectrum (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CSSB). The zakat payment was presented by the CSSB’s Managing Director, Dato’ Mahmud Abbas to the Sultan of Selangor – DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah during a ceremony at Istana Alam Shah, Klang, Selangor) on Thursday, 22 March 2018.

The simple but elegant ceremony was attended by a list of distinguished guests including The Mufti Negeri Selangor – Dato’ Setia Hj Mohd Tamyes b Abd Wahid, the Chairman of Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) – Y.A.M Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Anwar Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail and the Chairman of Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS) – Dato’ Setia Haji Mohammed Khusrin Haji Munawi.

Besides CSSB, Lembaga Tabung Haji, Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN), Northport (Malaysia) Berhad and Bank Islam (Malaysia) Berhad also presented their business zakat during the event.
